Clint Eastwood Says He Hopes To Still Be Directing At Age 105

In an interview at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday veteran actor turned director Clint Eastwood says he hopes to keep on directing well into the age of 105. ABC News says the 82-year-old actor called his age 105 hope, "the ultimate optimism."

During his interview, ABC News says Eastwood talked about how much he admired 104-year-old Portuguese filmmaker Manoel de Oliveria.

"It would be great to be 105 and still making films," Eastwood laughingly told the interviewer.

Clint Eastwood's last directorial picture was 2011's "J. Edgar" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He last acted in the 2012 baseball film alongside Amy Adams, "Trouble with the Curve."
