Yvette Prieto Makes Wife Number 2 For NBA Legend Michael Jordan

On Saturday, Michael Jordan married girlfriend Yvette Prieto in a posh ceremony at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, reports the Washington Post.

The church service for Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto's wedding had a reported 300 guests, while the Washington Post says the reception at the Bear's Club in Jupiter, Florida housed 2,000 guests. Some celebrity names that appeared on the guest list included Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing and Spike Lee.

"They've been planning for months and months," says a source to People Magazine. "He wanted to give Yvette everything she's ever wanted."

Everyone is trying to figure out who Yvette Prieto is. Online reports list her as a model and USA Today has put together a not yet verified biography of the new Mrs. Jordan.

"Prieto was born in Cuba. Most press accounts call her a model, but it's hard to find pictures of her modeling anywhere else than on MJ's arm. She's done it for some designers, but I get the sense she's a model like your favorite Starbucks barista is a singer," says USA Today.

USA Today calls Yvette Prieto's relationship with Jordan "sensible" saying the couple met in 2008, moved in together in 2009 and became engaged in 2011.

"She's a fantastic girl and I like her. Aside from her beauty, which is obvious, she is loving, simple and very good person," USA Today reports Yvette Prieto's former boyfriend Julio Iglesias said of Jordan's wife.

Michael Jordan was previously married for 17-years to Juanita Vanoy. The couple divorced in 2006 and have three grown children together.
