With "Game of Thrones" Season 6 coming back in April, the question of Jon Snow's presence in the series remains a mystery.
However, recent filming spoilers regarding actress Carice van Houten have reignited some longstanding theories regarding Melisandre and Jon Snow.
"Los Siete Reinos' sources report that the scene Carice is filming is a scene in which she is having some sort of argument or confrontation with Davos (Liam Cunningham)," wrote Watchers on the Wall. "They also say that the scene takes place in one of the earlier episodes of Season 6."
With earlier reports allegedly hinting at a limited filming schedule for van Houten, theories are brewing that Melisandre will sacrifice herself in order to resurrect Jon Snow.
"I was doing ADR the other day and then the producer was there and he was saying something that I've heard before, which is quite spectacular, for next year, which I really can't say anything about," said van Houten via New Daily.
Kit Harington has been spotted numerous times throughout "Game of Thrones" Season 6 filming, so most fans believe it is not a matter of if Jon Snow (or his body) will come back, but how.
Regardless of whether Jon Snow is resurrected on the show, Harington has been more than vocal about his tenure on "Game of Thrones," and it appears he's not going anymore anytime soon.
"I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to 'Game of Thrones,' so the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it almost completely consumes me," said Harington to the Belgian magazine Humo.
"Let's just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while; I'll probably be in my 30's when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on 'Thrones' is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
