Chris Brown Stops Following Rihanna On Twitter; His Dad Doesn't Want Them Together

Chris Brown stopped following Rihanna on Twitter. Chris and Rihanna have had an on-again, off-again relationship, and this social media dis might indicate that they're currently 'off'. Maybe Chris was listening to his dad, who "doesn't want them together".

Chris Brown stopped following Rihanna on Twitter on April 28, just a week before his birthday. For a couple who are dating, it's an odd move. Sure, a social network un-follow isn't a full breakup, but it's important to note that the couple have been following each other since their reunion. And, to make matters worse, the un-follow came a day after Rihanna started following Drake on Instagram, publically "liking" tons Drake's photos.. Prehaps Brown's un-follow was revenge? It might have been hard to see the photos. Or maybe Brown was taking his dad's advice.

Chris Brown's dad, Clinton, told the New York Daily News that "I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together." He is afraid that their relationship will end badly and Chris will be hurt. "I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse -- I mean I could go on and on!," he said. "Is that a given -- that you can't have fortune and fame without [death] being the end result?"

Clinton Brown would rather his son, Chris, be with "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks instead. "She's a wholesome young lady, very pretty", he said.

Still, Chris Brown and Rihanna seem to be doing better lately. Rihanna recently said "it's different now. We don't have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that... He doesn't have the luxury of fucking up again." Rihanna is reportedly planning a huge birthday party for Brown. It's yet to be seen what Brown's un-following Rihanna on Twitter means, but hopefully, it's just a small bump in the road.
