Valid Love actress and retired boxer Lee Si Young proudly revealed her home in the December issue of InStyle.
The beauty discussed the recent renovation process during the interview and posed in different areas of her apartment that had pop art posters, modern furniture and collectable figurines.
She revealed, "After concluding my boxing career and moving back to Seoul, I wanted to create a warm space where I could be with my family. I have lived in this apartment with my parents for ten years. My parents always wanted to actively remodel but I have always been very frugal and never saw the need."
However, when it came time to make an investment with her drama earnings, Lee saw her home as the obvious choice. She continued, "I wanted a professional home renovation so I worked with an interior designer and emphasized 'modernity and warmth' as the two most important elements."
Although the complete remodeling took three months, the family made the experience memorable by taking an active part in the design process. While Lee oversaw all the creative decisions, her father took a more hands-on approach. She stated, "There were many funny episodes during the renovation. My father made lights using a pile to give the bathroom an industrial feel. One day my father calls me and tells me the wrong pipe came out."
In other fashion news, Lee Si Young's last solo pictorial was for the pages of The Celebrity.
