Former Laker Great Magic Johnson Tweets Angrily About Dwight Howard, Current Laker Center

The Los Angeles Lakers were swept right out of the playoffs this year, and Magic Johnson, the former Lakers superstar and one of the all-time greats of the NBA, is putting the blame squarely on Dwight Howard.

Howard, the 6'10" All-Star center acquired by the Lakers in mid-season from the Orlando Magic, is in the middle of a controversy that has Laker Nation up in arms but worse, it has their beloved Mr. Johnson, an NBA Hall of Famer, angry.

Kobe Bryant's future is up in the air, a large part of the fan base wants head coach Mike D'Antoni out already - and then there's Dwight Howard. That situation only got more complicated as the Lakers exited the playoffs in the first round.

Not only did Howard get ejected from Sunday's 103-82 home loss to the San Antonio Spurs, but the center also apparently got into an exchange with general manager Mitch Kupchak on his way to the locker room. Although busy running the Dodgers, former Lakers great Magic Johnson was watching from afar, and he had some choice words for Howard on Twitter.

Johnson called out Howard for the ejection, saying the big man needed to stay on the floor to lead his team. After the game, Johnson likely spoke for all of Laker Nation, exclaiming on Twitter that he was "sooooooooooo happy" that the team's frustrating season is over.

In the second quarter of Game 4, Dwight Howard was ejected after picking up his second technical foul. By that point, the game was already a blowout, but many people are sounding off on Dwight Howard for "letting his team down" by allowing himself to lose his cool and get ejected at a time his team needed him most.

Clearly, Howard's frustration over his teams' poor play and his own inability to dominate as he used to in the past got the best of him.

Howard's future with the Lakers is now up in the air, as he needs to decide, as a free agent, whether or not he would like to remain a Laker.
