Kristin Cavallari, Actress In "The Hills," More Focused On Family These Days

Kristin Cavallari used to be one of the biggest stars on TV, gracing our screens once a week as Lauren Conrad's arch-nemesis on "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills."

But nowadays, Cavallari is much more focused on keeping her family together -- which is why she's put her career on hold. The 26-year-old, who is mom to 8-month-old son Camden Jack, admits to Coco Eco magazine that she's willing to make sacrifices in order to be close to her soon-to-be hubby, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

"I've passed on a couple of things that would have kept me here in L.A. because my fiancé Jay has to be in Chicago, so if I was here, we would never see each other,"Cavallari tells Coco Eco's April/May issue. "The sacrifices we make for love ..."

But Cavallari hasn't given up everything she loves. The former reality star is working on her shoe line with Chinese Laundry, as well as her new jewelry collection. Plus, she truly enjoys being at home.

"It's easy to get wrapped up in your career and have that be your only focus, and I want my marriage to work and last -- and family comes first," she explains. "The design work is great because I can do most of it from Chicago and I have so much fun with it. I love it and it all works out."

Cavallari and Cutler, 30, plan to wed this summer, although they're keeping the details under wraps. The pair first got engaged in April 2011 before calling it quits three months later. They reconciled in November 2011 and announced their second engagement before revealing that they were expecting a baby. Camden was born in August 2012.

Being pregnant has made Cavallari more conscious of living a healthy lifestyle, as well.

"My dad is a big health-nut so I've always tried to be as organic as possible, but when I became pregnant I took it to a whole new level and was even more conscious of what I was putting in my body.  I gained 25 pounds which is what I was supposed to gain, and since then I have been choosing more of a plant-based diet. I work out four times a week and just try to live healthy," she told People.

While expecting she kept away from red meat and she even started the plan how she was going to raise her new baby boy to live a healthy lifestyle as well.

"It was more toward the end of my pregnancy that I started thinking about the products I would be buying and using, and started reading labels," she told People. "I don't want to put anything on [Camden] which has chemicals, and so everything is organic."
