Ailee is working her magic with various featuring works that have become number one ranked songs.

Earlier this year, Ailee featured in Baechigi's "Tear Shower" which went onto sweep all music charts. Again, Giggs' "Wash Away," which features Ailee, has topped M-Net and Bugs music charts upon its official release on April 30.

The two songs have two things in common. First, no one expected the songs to be so successful. Second, Ailee featured in them.

"Wash Away" is a reminiscent, visual-oriented song that draws a painful picture of a lover missing the one that got away. It has elements of rock, which is a novel attempt for Giggs as well as Ailee.

A close source revealed that "Ailee just loved the song and finished recording it in a matter of hours. Of course, the staff loved it."

Ailee, after her back-to-back successes with her featuring work, is expected to receive a lot more featuring requests than she could handle. Ailee is currently working on her new album and plans to announce the release date in the coming months.
