KpopStarz 2015 Best of K-Pop Awards Winners Announced

While the year comes to the end, the award season is just getting well under way. Last week saw the results of our annual Best of K-Pop Awards.

Big Bang's "Bang Bang Bang" took the award for "Best K-Pop Song of the Year," with 2PM's "My House" and EXO's "Love Me Right" taking second and third place respectively.

GOT7 took the first place award for "Best K-Pop Group of the Year," with Big Bang and TVXQ coming in second and third.

CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa took first in "Best K-Pop Artist of the Year," while TWICE came in as the "Best K-Pop Rookie Group of the Year."

CL Appears On Spotify Viral Cart

For the first time, CL's most recent single "Hello Bitches" appeared on the United State's viral chart on the music streaming service Spotify. The song appeared for a few hours in the number one spot, and then stayed atop of the chart for several days. It is the first time that a song by 2NE1 or any member of the group topped the Spotify U.S viral chart.

Jay Park Denies Diss Track

After rumors spread on social media that Jay Park's recent single "2nd Thots" was an attack against model Stefanie Michova. The model, currently involved with hip-hop artist Beenzino, responded to the comments on social media by blocking people who pointed her out as a potential target of Park's song. Following the incident, Jay Park took to Instagram and Twitter and clarified that the song wasn't directed at a single individual but at a type of person.
