Super Junior member Choi Siwon has broken an almost monthlong silence on his Instagram account, his first update on the popular social media platform since his military enlistment.
"The veteran fighting spirit. Thank you!" wrote the idol along with a photo of himself wearing his military uniform and holding what looks to be a certificate.
Super Junior member Siwon was a prolific poster on Instagram, so fans were experiencing a bit of withdrawal from his updates, so the new post triggered a wave of excited responses.
"Miss you," "Congratulations oppa," "Take care and please stay healthy," said online commenters.
Fans are not the only ones that have been sorely missing Siwon. A couple of weeks ago, Super Junior leader Leeteuk wrote a message addressed to the idol "miss you a lot," and also said he was thinking of the other members currently serving, Lee Donghae and Lee Eunhyuk (Lee Hyukjae).
Siwon enlisted last month after a flurry of last-minute activities, such as a High Cut pictorial and finishing the taping for his hit drama She Was Pretty. For the latter, Siwon earned a lot of praise from critics and viewers for his exceptional portrayal of the eccentric but lovable features editor.
While Siwon serves out the rest of his mandatory enlistment, member Kim Ryeowook has been announced to be preparing for his solo debut in 2016.
