Selena Gomez is topless in her new video for "Come and Get It," as she continues to shed her old identity as a Disney star. From the topless dash in the water for the new video (below), her starring role in the Harmony Korine film, Spring Breakers, and finally her sordid relationship with another teenager looking to shed his pretty-boy past, Justin Bieber, it all goes to show that America's girl next door Selena Gomez is anything but.

The 20-year-old Gomez tweeted out a picture from the set of her newest music video, "Come and Get It," on Monday, and she appeared topless bathing in the water. Gomez wrote, "Music video for Come and Get It coming to you guys really soon," alongside the sultry pic, as she continues to shed her good girl image from earlier in her career.

The picture shows a sultry Gomez mid-dance move wearing a heavy brass necklace in the water, and nothing else, with her brunette tresses flowing behind her. In the new video, she appears in the sea, and in a sea of wild flowers as the pastoral locations for the video reveal a more mature look with an increased emphasis on sexiness combined with a glamour that stops her new look just short of tawdry.

There are Indian influences in the new video, and the former television star has taken to wearing bindis while performing. The former star of television's Wizards of Waverly Place has shown a more developed look this year to go alongside her interesting film roles and grown up subject matter on her fourth studio album, but first solo endeavor, "Come and Get It."

The pop star took on avant-garde filmmaker, Harmony Korine, as the titular character, Faith, in Spring Breakers, where she is filmed partying in a skimpy bikini among other shocking scenes, including one where she hits a bong.

Despite the new looks, Gomez can't shake her supposedly former relationship with star, Justin Bieber. The two were spotted together when Justin recently posted a photo of the pair on Instagram.

Gomez is also set to cameo in Eli Roth's upcoming Bioshock and will be in The Getaway with Ethan Hawke, which is set in Bulgaria, saying recently "It's really, really exciting. I go to Bulgaria and then I start filming. It's more of an action movie, which is also different. So we're doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn't really been confirmed yet."

The diminutive singer and actress has been working on her album, "Come and Get It" since October last year, and it's scheduled to be released later this summer. Check out the sneak peak of her new song of the same name, below.
