Hwang Jung Eum took a much deserved vacation in Prague for the January issue of Elle. The Czech Republic city is famous for its beautiful cathedrals and historical architecture from the Neo-Renaissance and Baroque period. Hwang explored the famous streets while wearing floral dresses, fleece coats, wool overalls and pullovers by brands like Diane von Furstenberg.
During the interview, Hwang talked about her character from the MBC drama She Was Pretty. She played Kim Hye Jin, a woman who experienced financial hardships and lost the beauty she had in her youth.
"I don't think I'll be able to see a character like Hye Jin for the time being," Hwang revealed. "I really 'wrecked my image' without holding back. I wonder if there will be another actor like me, who will be able to 'wreck' themselves for the role. Whether I do a melodrama or comedy, I like to break away from the standard."
The star also revealed that she plans to take short resting periods between projects and never retire.
She explained, "It doesn't matter whether I earn 100 billion won or win an acclaimed award, I'm not going to rest and will continue working until I'm like 40. Rather than choosing my own limit, I'm going to see how far I can go."
In other fashion news, Hwang Jung Eum's last international photoshoot was in the pages of Singles and took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
