A Pink have big plans for the New Year!
2016 will kick off with K-pop girl group Apink attending the 11th KKBOX Music Awards in Taiwan. The KKBOX Music Awards are held each year in Taipei, and broadcast throughout the world.
A Pink will be the only K-pop act to attend the the ceremony, held on Jan. 24.
"The member sare happy and looking forward to going to Taiwan," an A Pink rep told enewsWorld. "We will work hard to prepare a performance for the fans in Asia waiting for A pink."
The Koreangirl group is extremely popular in Taiwan. In 2014, A Pink's "Mr. Chu" topped Taiwan's 4Music weekly chart.
KKBOX is an online music streaming service that launched in 2004. It reaches 10 million users throughout Asia.
At last year's awards ceremony, K-pop idol group VIXX and soloist Rain performed alongside stars from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan.
A Pink will perform at the 11th KKBOX Music Awards, which will be held at the Taipei Arena on Jan. 24.
