K-Pop Comebacks To Look Forward To In January 2016

We are literally hours away from 2016, and that means we are just around the corner from all the exciting K-pop news that will come with the new year. Top of the list for any fan is, of course, the music!

Take a look at what K-pop releases are in store for the new year and give us a shout in the comments section about what you're most looking forward to hearing.

WINNER

YG Entertainment's male idol group will reportedly make a comeback in January, more than a year since their debut in 2014. There have been several delays to WINNER's next album, but fans are still anticipating a hit album to follow up with their debut album " 2014 S/S." WINNER's new music will be released on Jan. 11.

4MINUTE

The girl group made a killing at the beginning of 2015 with "Crazy" and then with HyunA's solo releases, but we're ready for something new from them. Since their debut in 2009, 4MINUTE's been known for dynamic concepts and they'll surely surprise with a new release.

Davichi & K.Will

Three of South Korea's most popular young balladeers are joining together for a new project, and it will likely be one of the best songs of the year. Songs by female duo Davichi and soloist K.Will are candy for the years, so together this will surely be an eargasmic experience.

Teen Top

The male idol group did well with 2015's funky "Ah-Ah" and Niel's solo release, but they're not slowing down in the new year. The dance-based pop group's comeback preparations are well underway, and they've been appearing at year end shows.

Dal Shabet

This girl group lost two members towards the end of this year, but they're ready to comeback in a big way in January. Dal Shabet's last single, "Joker" was a retro-inspired dance song, so we'll have to see what they have in store. They'll return on Jan. 5 with "Someone Like You" as a quintet.

Topp Dogg

Another idol group that's seen some line up changes this year, Topp Dogg's most prominent member Kidoh left the group in 2015. But that doesn't mean that this hip-pop group is going to slow down. We'll hear new music early in 2016.

Shin Hye Sung (Shinhwa)

Shinhwa's main belter Hye Sung has worked on numerous solo and project releases in the past, but January will see something new from this vocalist in the middle of the month. The release comes ten years after Shin Hye Sung's first solo release. He'll release his new music on Jan. 12.
