Rap Monster Sits Out KBS Gayo Daechukje Performance As Injury Strikes 3rd BTS Member

Injuries continue to affect BTS's year-end schedule.

BTS performed as a six-member act on Wednesday night at the annual KBS Gayo Daechukje, the television station's annual music festival, after leader Rap Monster (Kim Nam Joon) was injured while rehearsing. While the idol showed no apparent injuries, BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment announced that Rap Monster would be sitting out of the performance.

While rehearsing for a year end performance, Rap Monster fell off of a stage ramp and went to a nearby hospital for a check up.

The rest of BTS performed on Wednesday night at KBS's annual music festival despite Rap Monster sitting it out.

On Thursday, the K-Pop Herald announced that Rap Monster was contemplating not attending MBC's Music Festival.

Rap Monster is the third member of BTS to be injured in recent days. Members V and Suga previously were injured in Japan and the group was forced to cancel two concerts in Japan that were held earlier this week.

BTS released two albums this year, "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1" and "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2." Singles "Run" and "I Need U" did extremely well on Korean music charts and helped BTS stand out amongst the competitive K-pop crowd.
