Baek Ji Young Officially Debuts in Japan, 'Huge Interest Arises'

Singer Baek Ji Young has officially debuted in Japan and has been gaining attention from local media.

On May 1, Baek Ji Young held a solo live concert in Tokyo to celebrate her official debut.

Her hit song from the "Secret Garden" OST was rewritten into a Japanese version for her debut song.

On this day, she was surrounded by 800 fans who supported her for her debut stage.

She also gained much interest from the local Japan media. Local media released articles stating that 'Baek Ji Young's solo live concert had fans shouting and supporting her." They also named her 'Queen of Ballads'.

When asked about her fiancé, actor Jung Suk Won, she stated, "He is someone that understands me the best and is always happy and funny."

She will be getting married to Jung Suk Won next month.

Baek Ji Young first started her career in 1999 when she debuted as a solo female singer. She gained much popularity and later became one of the most popular female dance artists of that time.

In 2009, she collaborated with 2PM member Taecyeon and gained much attention for their couple dance.

She is known for her ballads and is also famous for many hit OST songs for movies and dramas.
