Storage Wars is dropping 3 cast members in the wake of former cast member Dave Hester's lawsuit against the popular A&E network show. The 3 Storage Wars cast members who will be dropped are Darrell Sheets and the husband and wife duo, Dan and Laura Dotson. They'll all see their screen time severely diminished as audiences see less of them during next season. That is, if audiences are still tuning in to the show.

The three cast members will be "frozen out" like Hester, which is what prompted his lawsuit in the first place. 

Hester's lawsuit comes after he was "frozen out" of the show, which led to him filing a lawsuit against the production company and admiting the startling revelations that the producers planted items in the storage units and much of the finds were fakes, Radaronline reported yesterday. 

Sheets will himself be "frozen out" of six additional episodes, and the husband and wife Dotson duo are also reportedly being dropped over money. 

According to a source, the show is cutting back on some of the higher paid cast members. Hester was he first to go, but now the Dotson's and Darrell Sheets are the next to meet the chopping block.

Hester has said "all cast members are aware the show is being faked," before he was cut loose, and he said they all discussed it out in the open, so everyone was aware that the plot lines were fabricated.

TV analysts warn that the cost-cutting measures could affect ratings since people tuned in to see the personalities more than they did because of the content and the premise of the show. 

Hester was loathed by most audiences, who loved to hate the irascible former cast member, and Darrell falls into that same category too after initially having a sound bidding strategy. 

But the auctioneer husband and wife team of Dan and Laura Dotson were much beloved by audiences, and their absence might cause viewers to flock. Many believed the Dotson's lovey-dovey demeanor was what made the show, and by cutting the pair from next season, A&E is alienating their fan base.
