Kim Woo Bin became a modern super hero for the latest campaign by Samsonite Red.
The Twenty actor and model transformed into "Redman" while climbing down ladders, walking on high rooftop ledges and jumping off buildings. The "Catch the Red" slogan enticed consumers to buy Kim's backpacks and clutches for their own fast-paced everyday lives.
The 2016 Spring/Summer lookbook coupled the accessories with everything, from suits to leather jackets, in order to show each bag's versatility. The style theme was referred to as "proven mainstream," meaning, trendy combinations worn by successful stars that will likely continue dominating in the new year.
According to a brand representative, "Kim Woo Bin became a divine Hallyu trend of Asia with the evenly distributed requisites of a star, from his looks to his acting skills and fashion sense. We expect that he will play an important role in getting the brand name out there in, of course, Korea but also in the whole world."
Previous Samsonite Red spokespersons and muses include AOA's Seolhyun, Song Joong Ki and Kim's The Heirs co-star Lee Min Ho.
