Charlie Sheen defends Denise Richards on Twitter. This isn't the first time Charlie Sheen has been crazy on Twitter - but at least this time it's in a loving way. Sheen posted on Twitter this Wednesday in defense of Denise Richards, his ex-wife.

There have been tabloid reports recently that Richards has become too thin. He wrote "listen up sad, dooshy media STOP the inane reports of Denise's weight! She's SO healthy!"

And, even more dramatically, he added "this guy didn't listen" and linked a photo that showed Sheen suffocating a man with a plastic bag over his head. Apparently it was a humorous threat, or a veiled attempt at a threat, or a humorous attempt at veiling anger. Something like that.

Denise Richards, Sheen's ex-wife and the mother of his daughters Sam and Lola, has come under media scrutiny recently for possible weight loss. Sheen, 47, star of Anger Management, is no stranger to being outspoken - some would say crazy - on Twitter. But he's doing it all with love this time.

Sheen's last craziness in his long, storied string of being nuts on Twitter came in March. He issued a public "call to arms" to his nearly 4.5 million followers to strike back at the school his daughter Sam had been "bullied out of."

"if you have a rotted egg a roll of toilet paper or some dog sh--; I urge u to deliver it with 'extreme prejudice' to their KamPuss run by trolls and charlatans. make me proud," Sheen wrote.

In both cases, Sheen's being protective, which could almost be sweet if it wasn't so chock-a-block choked with profanity and violence. Regardless, it's entertaining, if nothing else.
