Shinhwa will release their upcoming 11th album on May 16.

On May 1, via Shinhwa's official fan page, the official release date was announced as well as the title of the new album, The Classic.

An associate from Shinhwa's management company stated, "The new album is a hybrid of all the traditional colors that make Shinhwa who they are as well as something novel in addition. Of course, the signature dance songs associated with Shinhwa are included. There are also trendy songs that are easy to follow for people of all ages. We put in our best effort to put together the most complete album yet."

Shinhwa will spend two days to shoot the music video for their title song of the album.

A tour around Asia is also set in schedule, spanning from Korea and Japan to China, Singapore and Taiwan.

Shinhwa, who finished a recording of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star' on April 24, will appear on Saturday Night Live Korea on May 4, a R-rated live comedy program.
