V.O.S Return After 6 Years As Complete Trio With New EP

South Korean vocal trio V.O.S has released a new mini album titled Re:union, The Real, their first in six years.

Re:union, The Real contains five tracks, including two lead ballad songs, "The Day" and "The Only One For Me," the former of which was written and composed by member Choi Hyun Joon. You can watch the MV for the latter title track below:

Previously, V.O.S was promoting with only two of the three members, Choi Hyun Joon and Kim Kyung Rok, but this latest comeback sees the entire trio reuniting to include member Park Ji Heon.

V.O.S is short for Voice of Soul, and the trio can thank HappyFace Entertainment CEO Lee Joo Won for bringing them back together to push out new music, according to The Korea Herald.

"We had been apart for so long that it became uncomfortable to tell each other how we felt (about the reunion)," member Park Ji Heon reportedly said at a recent media event.

"He acted as a bridge between us, helping us understand each other. When we finally met in person, we knew it was right," he added.

In explaining the title of the new album, Choi Hyun Joon said that it was inspired by the trio's debut album released in 2004 which was titled The Real.

"We titled 'Re:union, The Real' to express that we wanted to go back to those happy days."
