Missing In Action 2NE1 Member Park Bom Spotted At YG-Owned Restaurant

After a single surprise performance in 2015, 2NE1's Park Bom was spotted in Seoul, South Korea earlier this week.

Samgeori Butchers, a restaurant owned by YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk, shared a picture on Instagram featuring the 2NE1 member. It was the first public image of the singer since she appeared at the 2015 MAMA's, her first appearance on Korean television since an amphetamine-related scandal led to a long-term hiatus.

On Tuesday, Samgeori Butcher's official Instagram shared the picture.

"2NE1 Bom visited Samgeori Butchers," said the description in English. "We hope to see you more often."

Since being posted, the image has received more than 1 thousand comments, and been liked over 7 thousand times.

While it wasn't a promotional event, the image was the first time a picture of Park Bom was shared on social media by an account closely linked to 2NE1's agency, YG Entertainment.

Samgeori Butchers is co-owned by Yang Hyun Suk and Noh Hee Young, and opened last June. The pork barbecue restaurant is popular amongst YG Entertainment artists, who are often photographed eating there.

The Samgeori Butchers official Instagram has previously featured other 2NE1 members, Big Bang, Rain, Psy and other top Korean stars.

Park Bom debuted under YG Entertainment in 2009 as a member of 2NE1. Prior to going on hiatus following her 2014 drug-related controversy, Park was a popular singer and burgeoning variety show star.
