Mily Cyrus tops Maxim's Hot 100 List According To The Star's Friday Twitter Update [PIC]

Miley Cyrus tops Maxim's Hot 100 List, which she revealed before the magazine could even announce the news. The former Hannah Montana star sent a tweet out Friday night, showing off her sexy body in a provocative picture that's reported to be included in her winning spread for the magazine's annual list of the hottest women in the world.

The 20-year-old singer and actress, said on Twitter, "Didn't know this was coming out yet! I'm so happy to be #1 on Maxim HOT 100 List! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue," and attached a sexy pic from her recent photoshoot with Maxim in the tweet.

It's unclear whether Maxim even knew about the tweet, since most Cyrus fans had not yet heard the news before her message, possibly catching the magazine's staff by surprise before they'd formerly announced the winner of this year's list.

The television star, and daughter of country music star, Billy Ray Cyrus, had recently made headlines with a revealing interview and photo shoot with V Magazine, where she posed in a series of scantily clad outfits, with some baring most of her breasts.

The Billboard Music award winner, and "Twerker" appears to be the next in a long line of heralded Maxim Hot 100 winners.

Last year's winner was Bar Rafeali, and the choice this year for Cyrus was a mild upset, as FHM had awarded Mila Kunis it's "Sexiest Woman Alive" moniker earlier in the year.

Former winners of the coveted spot in Maxim's list, include Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon star, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Katy Perry and Olivia Wilde.

The sexy photo of Cyrus shows the lithe actress on her side in a barely-there one-piece bathing suit with a come hither look on her countenance. The actress and musician has been making the media rounds recently while finishing up work on her fourth studio album, which she confirmed would be released this year. Earlier in March, she announced she'd teamed up with former Britney Spears manager, Larry Rudolph.

Awkwardly for Maxim, the magazine has yet to confirm Miley's impromptu proclamation about winning their top spot on Twitter Friday night.
