According to U.K.'s The Sun, Katy Perry's dad calls his daughter a "devil child" in his sermons. Repeatedly. Katie Perry's dad believes the messages her daughter is sending are sinful and urged his congregants to "pray for Katy".

Katy Perry's dad, Keith Hudson, is touring churches across the U.S. with his wife, Mary; the preacher and his wife appear as guest speakers. And he's pretty unhappy about his daughter Katy's career.

In Santa Fe Springs, CA, Keith Hudson reportedly told his congregation, "They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl? I was at a concert of Katy's where there were 20,000. I'm watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church."

Which, apparently, is a big problem. "I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping," he said. "They're loving and worshipping the wrong thing."

Katy's dad wants to "heal" her instead of praise her, he says. Hudson and Mary also asked for donations, ""not one or two dollars, but 20s," so they can reportedly go to Switzerland. Apparently the millions they've made from Katy's career aren't enough.

Katy Perry, 28, is a pop singer who started out singing in churches and now has several chart-topping singles. She's currently busy promoting her new perfume, "Killer Queen".  Perhaps Katy Perry is a "devil child" in the eyes of her father because she's no longer singing in church?
