Mamamoo's agency RBW Entertainment has taken action on five of Mamamoo's stalker fans, after previous warnings to stop following the members around were ignored.
RBW made a post on their official fan cafe about the nature of the harassment activities and announced what disciplinary actions they would be taking.
In the post, RBW explained, "There have been recent problems related to the members being followed to private events and on their way to and from work."
The post also stated that the five stalker fans had broken two of the company's rules, which were "waiting for the members outside of the company or their dormitories" and "trespassing in the personal living space of the members."
"Even though we made a post regarding this issue on Feb. 1, the problems have continued, so we have decided to take disciplinary action," the agency continued, showing willingness to protect their artists.
RBW then publicly revealed the user names of the five fans, followed by their punishment. They are permanently banned from joining Mamamoo's official online fan cafe and attending live shows with Mamamoo. In addition, they are also not allowed to join "Moomoo," the group's official fan club.
