After experiencing visa issues, it was announced that eight members of EXO will be performing in Canada on Friday.
Following the absence of EXO's Kai from the first stop of their EXO'luXion North American tour in Dallas on Wednesday, concert organizers revealed that the visa issues that kept Kai away have been solved. On Thursday, EXO's label SM Entertainment announced that Kai will be attending the Vancouver concert.
Kai left Korea Thursday afternoon to join the rest of EXO's members in Vancouver.
Earlier this week, the tour's local organizer, My Music Taste, announced via social media that the Lunar New Year had made it difficult to process Kai's work visa for the tour stops.
Following the announcement that Kai would be unable to attend the debut stop of the tour in Dallas on Feb. 10, My Music Taste offered full refunds to any fans who no longer wanted to attend the concert.
While Kai goes on to join EXO in Vancouver, the group is still down one member and will perform without Lay, who is currently resting from an injury obtained while filming a Chinese drama. Prior to the accident, SM Entertainment had announced that Lay would be unable to attend the North American stops of the EXO'luXion tour due to his filming responsibilities.
EXO's first ever solo North American tour kicked off in Dallas on Wednesday, and will head to Chicago and Los Angeles before a final stop in Newark, New Jersey on Feb. 21.
