YG Entertainment has confirmed that Lee Hi will make her comeback on Mar. 9.
On Feb. 27, YG uploaded a photo with K-pop Star Season 5 hosts Yang Hyun-suk, Park Jin-Young, and Yoo Hui-yeol holding a sign that read, "Lee Hi Comeback 2016.03.09," confirming the 19-year-old idol's comeback.
This is Lee Hi's first solo comeback in three years with her previous album First Love being the last in March 2013. However, Lee Hi took part in YG's project sub-unit "Hi Suhyun" with Lee Suhyun of Akdong Musician and Bobby of iKon.
Though YG has not announced whether Lee Hi will release an EP or a full album, a blog post by YG artist Tablo, who worked with Lee Hi for her upcoming comeback, mentioned, "Lee Hi's comeback album is shocking. Prepare yourselves."
The album is being produced by Tablo and DJ Tukutz of Epik High.
Lee Hi's debut album swept the No. 1 spot on music charts when it first released, but it's a matter of time whether Lee Hi can achieve the same results when Mar. 9 rolls around.
