Just a quarter into the year, J Star Entertainment delivered breaking news to fans with the official announcement of K-pop group ZPZG's disbandment.
On Thursday, Mar. 3, the entertainment agency took the unfortunate news to Twitter in regards to the idol group's disbandment after being together for a year and a half.
In the translated tweet provided by Soompi, J Star Entertainment stated:
"This is J Star Entertainment. Group ZPZG has come to disband on March 3, 2016. We thank you for the support you have given to ZPZG and J Star Entertainment. We will work hard to show you an improved image. We ask ZPZG fans for their deep understanding. Thank you."
Members Khan, N.K, Gyeom and Jihoon debuted in Zest Play Zest Grow/ZPZG in September 2014 with their single "Go Crazy."
The group's disbandment marks the fourth one for the year as groups like KARA, LC9 and NOM made their announcements in January.
Though further information isn't provided as to why the disbandment occured, the best wishes go out to all the former members and their future endeavours.
