Keith Urban Fans Rejoice: His Upcoming Album ‘Ripcord’s’ Release Dates Revealed

The fans of ''American Idol'' famed judge-singer Keith Urban are happy to hear that his upcoming new album 2016 'Ripcord' will be in the stores soon. The earlier release date was supposed to be June 2, 2016, however, now it is declared that it will be released before that date.

''The Australian-born superstar will drop his eighth studio album on May 6, 2016, he revealed on Thursday (March 17)'' clarified Taste of country. Two blockbuster singles "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16″ and "Break on Me," from this upcoming album were released earlier and they are breaking the US Billboard records already.

"Ripcord is almost done - and it's been an exhilarating journey," Urban said in a press release. "Getting to work with so many new musicians and writers and co-producers has been a divine experience for me - and I can't wait for everyone to hear it!"

The talented singer was so busy with judging the show ''American Idol'' that he could not even make time to attend the Academy Awards on Feb. 28 this year. "I've been in the studio this weekend feverously trying to get my record done and we couldn't be in two places at once, unfortunately," clarified the New Zealand-born Australian singer. The upcoming ''Ripcord World Tour 2016'' too is expected to be beneficial for the career of Urban. It will start on Jun. 2, 2016. So will this talented singer win another Grammy as he won for "You'll Think of Me," "Once in a Lifetime" and ''Sweet Thing?"
