‘Transformers 5’ Cast, Spoilers, Storyline: Michael Bay To Direct The Fifth Instalment Too

''Transformers 5'' is being directed by Michael Bay and will be released sometime in 2017.

''The Transformers Cinematic Universe'' is franchise of movies directed by Michael Bay. Based on the toys created by Hasbro and Tomy (Tomy Company, Ltd) this science fiction action film series has a huge fan base. TFwiki has come up with the date-wise history of this movie from the date it was announced till now all the important developments which have happened in the untitled movie.

Till now it is decided that Michael Bay will direct this movie too and the filming will begin from May 2016. Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner have been writing the script of this movie however there seems to be some changes as Goldsman is busy with the screenplay of ''G.I. Joe'' and ''Micronauts'' properties.

As per wikia, this film will continue off of the first 4 films (Transformers released in 2007, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen- released in 2009, Transformers: Dark of the Moon- released in 2011, and Transformers: Age of Extinction- released in 2014).

The plot which is rumored will revolve around Cade Yeager, now with his daughter and daughter's street racing boyfriend. This trio now is protected by Autobots Bumblebee, Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs. It is also rumored that Unicron the evil twin brother of Optimus Prime will be there in the movie and will try to destroy the earth.

There is also a possibility of Ultra Magnus, Red Alert, and Override being shown on the Autobot team of this fifth sequel.

The fans are still waiting for the official confirmation from the makers of this movie. Way back in 2014 Hallels had talked about the ''Transformers 5'' being announced. Mark Wahlberg had been playing the role of Cade Yeager and is expected to reprise his role as a robot builder. Megan Fox who was present on the first two films might return in ''Transformers 5.''
