In the beginning of the year when the rumors ripened about the release of ''Highschool Of The Dead'' season 2 in 2016, the fans were very happy with the news. Then there were speculations about the Japanese TV series to be created by US-based ''Anime Network'' as the original creators were not interested in a storyline based on apocalypse. However, as per the latest updates, the release dates seem to be further pushed.
Manga updates hints about the continuation of ''Triage x.'' Even though ''Highschool Of The Dead'' TV series is very popular among the fans despite the fact that the last episode was aired 5 years ago, the creators Madhouse studio has not taken any decision about airing season 2. However, the good news is even though the popular TV series is not yet renewed, it is not cancelled either which keeps the hopes alive for the fans.
The creator of ''Triage X'' is Shōji Satō and it was first aired on Tokyo MX from Apr. 8, 2015 to Jun. 10, 2015. Later Sentai Filmworks acquired the license of this series to be aired in English-language release in North America. Animenewsnetwork confirmed this news last year and Sentai filmworks too talked about it.
The creator of ''Highschool of the Dead'' too is Shōji Satō. However, there is no news lately released at any forum about the return of the anime series on TV.
Last time when YHM had checked the number of fans waiting for this series, the number was 5027 on whenwill.net, however the actual figure is much larger. As per the new figure, it is showing that 5627 fans are waiting for it. So even though it has been a long time, the fans of this anime series is still intact. So will this series resume again on TV? Only time will tell.
