DId Liam Hemsworth's Two Brothers Stage An Intervention To End Engagement With Miley Cyrus? [VIDEO]

After a rocky engagement between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, Liam's brothers are getting involved, going as far as staging an intervention to break up with Miley.

Liam's brothers, Chris and Luke Hemsworth, have been pushing Liam to end things once and for all with his rebellious girlfriend, Miley Cyrus.

In fact, the brothers supposedly held an intervention for Liam in April!

The Hemsworth brothers want him to end the romance for good and are so dismayed with the couple's roller coaster relationship that they are begging him to leave Miley.

In the past couple of months, the on and off-again couple has reportedly stopped making wedding plans, and are spending more time apart.

But, in the latest issue of V magazine, Cyrus addressed these rumors, saying firmly, "I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work... Every week it's, 'Are they broken up? Because we don't see a photo of them.'"

She then added, "I don't have time to go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him."

Cyrus has been working hard on her new album and says that nothing, not even her relationship, can get in the way of the new project.

Miley's family is perplexed about where the couple stand as well and hope that the young couple can wait a bit longer for a wedding.

Even her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, recently admitted he's not sure if the wedding is still on, awkwardly telling ABC News that Miley and Hemsworth are still "friends."

"I don't know. I know as I was writing a book, I wanted to keep that particular moment [Miley's wedding] as open-ended as possible. I didn't know the answer," Billy Ray explains to ABC in an interview that aired April 15.

He continues, "They're young, they're kids, the great news is they're great friends, they're really good friends," he continued. "I play it by ear, I know whatever's meant to be that's the way it's going to happen."

Months ago Hemsworth, 23, was allegedly cheating on the "Hannah Montana" star with "Mad Men" beauty, January Jones.

January and "The Hunger Games" star sparked rumors of a fling after they were spotted leaving a party together in February and now, two months later, have been accused of contacting each other behind Cyrus's back.

Elsa Pataky, Hemsworth's sister in law, has weighed in on the couple's status as well.

The wife of Liam's brother, Chris, revealed that she was unsure if the couple were still together. She said, "I don't know. But if they get married it would be nice to go."

Miley and Liam are a bit young to make such a commitment, especially since they have been on the rocks lately. But is it really Liam's brothers' place to tell their bro how to live his love life?
