Radiohead New Album 2016 To Be Released Soon: When Will The Wait End For The Untitled Ninth Studio Album?

Radiohead is an English rock band which was formed in 1985. As per the latest update, they are all set to release their upcoming new ninth studio album in 2016.

Thom Yorke (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Colin Greenwood (bass), Phil Selway (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals) are the members of this popular band. This band Radiohead started their journey in 1992 with their debut album ''Creep." After that there was no looking back. The second studio album ''Pablo Honey'' was released in 1993, the third album ''The Bends'' in 1995, fourth album ''OK Computer'' in 1997, ''Kid A'' the fifth album in 2000, ''Amnesiac'' the sixth studio album in 2001 and ''Hail to the Thief'' the seventh album in 2003. All these albums were released under the record label EMI.

''In Rainbows'' the seventh studio album was released without the support of any records label. It was released under their own banner in 2007. ''The King of Limbs'' the eighth studio album was released in 2011. After that the band went for a hiatus and the fans are eagerly waiting for their ninth studio album.

Consequencesofsound reported that the untitled ninth studio album of ''Radiohead'' will be released in 2016 and after that the band will start a world tour. ''A source for familiar with Radiohead's plans says the band plans to headline several music festivals both in America and abroad this summer. A North American jaunt is expected to take place in July'' was the further update posted in Jan. 2016.

Sometime back it was confirmed that the album is almost ready and now they are giving the finishing touch to the same. "Good news for all Radiohead fans. Jonny Greenwood said today in an interview with Russian radio Silver Rain: 'We have finished recording the new album, but we keep listening to it and change the views on the recorded material. We hope that soon we will have exactly finish it and start building plans for a next year tour'" reported Reddit.

"We didn't do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time," Greenwood stated as per the latest report on pitchfork. "We've got quite a busy Autumn coming up," revealed Radiohead drummer Phil Selway to ABC.
