Daybreak Game Company which was formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment is in the process of creating a great game for the gaming enthusiasts. In Feb. 2016 it was reported that the game is split into two and now the developers are busy releasing both the games.
''H1Z1: Just Survive'' is being developed for Microsoft Windows platform. Polygon reported about the split strategy in details in Feb. 2016. The plot of this game revolves around the zombie apocalypse in the rural United States. The game got its name from the H1N1 virus, as the players have to survive against the natural elements and the zombies which are created by the gene mutation caused by H1N1 virus. The developers are hoping to release this game by mid of 2016.
The early access version of this game before the split was released on steam on Jan. 15, 2015 and the developers were taking feedback from the gamers to improve the characters and gameplay. IGN covered that news and there is video uploaded too. "Is it going to be a finished game? Absolutely not. If that's what you're expecting, DO NOT BUY EARLY ACCESS. The goal here is to let you in early and help us mold it into a game you want to be a part of for quite a long time'' John Smedley the president of Sony Online Entertainment clarified.
On the official website of ''H1Z1'' after the split was announced, another team of developers started working on the other game ''H1Z1 King of the Kill.'' This game is being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Gamespot confirmed the news.
''On PC, H1Z1 is becoming two independent games: H1Z1: King of the Kill and H1Z1: Just Survive. King of the Kill is described as a "large-scale, high-intensity" shooter that includes a number of games, including Battle Royale, which was created by a player who goes by the name PlayerUnknown'' reported Gamespot.
Some of the gamers were unhappy as now they have to shell out more money to be able to play both the games, however as per the latest update since the gaming experience is improving after the split, the gamers are happy.
''So, we've decided to do just that - we're excited to announce that the survival game will now be called H1Z1: Just Survive, with a renewed focus on truly delivering a persistent, open-world zombie survival experience where scavenging, crafting, and base building are the difference between life and death'' the official website clarified.
Both the games will be released shortly even though the exact release date is not yet revealed by the developers. Kpopstarz will release regular updates about the development phase of the games.
