f(x) Krystal To Further Add Star Power In Upcoming Drama 'Heirs'?

It looks like f(x)'s Krystal may soon be making her drama debut.

The upcoming SBS drama Heirs is currently in the process of making their casting decisions and they have approached idol singer Krystal of f(x) to fill one of the roles.

SBS released a statement saying, "It's true that the staff approached Krystal. They haven't confirmed her casting, but they're watching her with interest."

Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have already been confirmed as members of the Heirs cast and the drama will follow the relationships of wealthy high schoolers.

According to reports, Krystal is being considered for one of the female leads and the show's producers and f(x) agency, SM Entertainment, are looking into the singer's schedule for the latter half of the year to see if she will be able to participate in the filming.

SBS has yet to confirm when filming for Heirs is set to begin or when the show will be aired and are allegedly waiting until the full cast is confirmed before announcing any other details.

Krystal has joined the cast of sitcoms in the past, but if she signs onto Heirs, it will be her full-scale drama debut.

In 2010 Krystal had a small role in More Charming by the Day and the following year she played the part of Ahn Soojung in the popular daily series High Kick!

The f(x) member also hosted The M-Wave alongside MBLAQ's Thunder and has reality show experience. In 2011 she competed on Kim Yuna's Kiss & Cry. After winning with her partner Lee Dong Hun, Krystal was given the opportunity to skate alongside the Olympian at her Samsung Galaxy Hauzen All That Skate Summer 2011 ice show.

Remarkably enough, Krystal's athleticism earned her another impressive distinction when she appeared on Let's Go Dream Team 2 in 2010. She broke a decade-old high jump record and still currently holds the the national record at 1.95 meters.
