‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Spin Off Update: Brad Pitt To Reprise The Role Of Charlie Hunnam AKA Jax Teller’s Father

The last episode of ''Sons of Anarchy'' was aired on Dec. 9, 2014, however the excitement for this TV series has not died down among the viewers. The viewers are waiting with bated breath for the release of the spin off which Kurt Sutter, the creator and showrunner has promised.

Even though Charlie Hunnam, the primary character of Jax Teller might not reprise in the prequel, the fans are waiting to see his father. There are rumors that Brad Pitt might be playing the role of Jax Teller's father. It is rumored that the "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" famed actor Pitt is chosen for this role as he looks similar to Hunnam and will be convincing for the role of his father.

Men's journal did an exclusive interview with Hunnam and the interviewer asked many questions to him. ''First of all congratulations on the amazing run for 'Sons Of Anarchy'. Did you have any idea it would go this far?'' was the question posed by the interviewer. The reponse to that was great by Hunnam. ''I had no idea. I remember when I got the first script sent to me by my team. I thought immediately, "Has it got this bad? Why are they sending me TV scripts?" They were like, "You really got to read this." I did and my jaw dropped. They were some of the most daring, original and interesting pages I had ever read. Kurt [Sutter]

knew exactly what he was doing'' was Hunnam's response.

So even though Hunnam did not expect the series to go for seven seasons, it pulled through due to popular demand. However, now he wants to concentrate on others things and is not keen to return to the prequel. His upcoming movie ''The Lost City of Z'' is in the filming stages and will be released sometime in 2016. He will play the role of Colonel Percy Fawcett and Sienna Miller will play the role of his wife Nina Fawcett.

There are talks of the sequel of ''Pacific Rim 2" and Hunnam to reprise the role as Raleigh Becket. The director Guillermo Del Toro has confirmed the news of him directing the sequel however, the release dates and other details are not yet finalised.

Hunnam has also signed for ''Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur'' which will be released in 2017. So it seems Hunnam now wants to move from the small screen to the large one and has his hands full with upcoming movie projects.
