International fans can now more easily sing along to Jessica Jung's "FLY" and other songs in her recently released mini album.
Coridel Entertainment has released an English language international version of With Love, J: The First Mini Album. The entertainment label also dropped an English version of title track "FLY."
The Korean version of "FLY" has already racked up more than 11 million views just a week after its release.
"FLY" is part of the first album that Jessica has released since departing from the popular K-pop girl group Girls' Generation. The song features American hip hop artist Fabolous.
Fans were pleasantly surprised at having two versions of the "FLY" music video to enjoy, with minor differences spotted by eagle-eyed fans. English-speaking fans that could not be bothered to look up the Korean version lyrics were also glad to finally know the meaning of the song.
Some fans though felt that the English version of "FLY" is subpar compared to the earlier released Korean version.
"Korean version is stuck in my head and when hearing this, it just messes everything up," "I love the Korean version, this not really, no need for an English version even if she's American," said a couple of disappointed YouTube commenters.
Do you like the English version of "FLY" more than the Korean? How about the other English language versions for With Love, J?
