Olivia Sprauer's sexy bikini photos got her fired from her teaching job. Olivia Sprauer modeled bikinis in a photo-shoot and lost her job for doing so.

Olivia Sprauer, 26, models under the name Victoria James and was teaching English at the Martin County High School in Florida. She took bikini pics in Febuary and knew it was risky, but decided to take the risk.

Sprauer said she lost her job after one of her modeling photos came to the attention of the school's principal. Some commenters have wondered why she lost her job and called it "slut-shaming"... after all, she wasn't breaking a law or engaging with students, and the photos were under an assumed name.

Still, she seems fairly accepting. "Lots of teachers get fired or asked to resign for the same things I did," Sprauer told the Huffington Post "I knew I didn't want to come back next year and I knew I wanted to go to grad school so I decided if I made it to the end of the year I would be happy."

However, she came just shy of making it until the end of the year. On April 29, she was called into the principal's office. Alfred Fabrizio, the principal, showed Sprauer one of her photos. She fessed up that it was her, and he asked her to resign immediately.

Olivia Sprauer started teaching in 2011, and she was disappointed over not getting to finish the year.  "I felt like it would have been nice for my students to finish out the year with me. They trusted me and they made me happy so that aspect of it was sad," she said.

She still plans to go to their graduation, and said her students understand. "They are happy for me," she said. "They know I love them."

But she doesn't think what she did was wrong. "I don't make pornography. I don't open my legs on camera. I take swimsuit glamour style photography," Sprauer said.

Olivia Sprauer's Model Mayhem profile page confirms this, saying "I am more than comfortable shooting TASTEFUL nudes for the right projects."

The Martin County School District would only confirm that Olivia Sprauer is no longer employed at the school.
