'Dark Souls 3' Will Be The Last Of The Series; Gameplay Details Leaked!

"Dark Souls 3" is said to be the combination of what is best of "Dark Souls" and "Dark Souls 2." Fans are expecting that the third installation will be better and still retain the spirit of the two previous games.

While fans are expecting the game to be released soon, Hidetaka Miyazaki has said that he is ready to close the book on the "Dark Souls" series, according to Alphr.

"I don't think it'd be the right choice to continue indefinitely creating 'Souls' and 'Bloodborne' games," said Miyazaki in an interview by Gamespot. "I'm considering 'Dark Souls 3' to be the big closure on the series."

"That's not just limited to me, but FromSoftware and myself together want to aggressively make new things in the future," he continued. "'Dark Souls 3' will mark the last game where the development project began before I became president."

Furthermore, the message that Miyazaki has sent is clear, but it does not mean that the series will be gone completely. This just means that FromSoftware might create a new type of game in the future, steering away from the "Souls" franchise.

In other news, a Japanese promotional pamphlet for "Dark Souls 3" has been leaked online, according to Christian Today. The leaked pamphlet has in-game screenshots of the third installment, the pre-order bonus for the Japanese version and some details of the game's features.

In addition, Game Pur has reported that Reddit user TheMindWrath has fully translated the leaked promotional pamphlet. The scanned images can be viewed here.

Furthermore, the list of the translation details describing what to expect from the game can be viewed here.

"Dark Souls 3" is scheduled to be released on March 24 in Japan and on April 12 for the rest of the world. More news is to be expected as the launch date draws near.
