Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend lands on the Maxim 100 hot list for women.

Maxim's 100 list featured Miley Cyrus at the top, but Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend found her way to the 69th spot on the yearly tradition of the hottest women in the entire world.

There are no credentials to land on this list. Maxim said that the list can include anybody. They can be an actress, singer, politician, model or your average worker. It doesn't matter.

This appearance from Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend on the Maxim 100 hot list might be the strangest appearance in the 14 years of this yearly issue.

The imaginary girlfriend quite possibly hindered the Notre Dame's linebacker to plummet to the second round of the NFL draft before being selected by the San Diego Chargers.

Last Fall, Te'o told the media that both his grandmother and his girlfriend had died on September 11, 2012. Te'o said that his girlfriend, Stanford University student Lennay Kekua, had died after a car accident and subsequently was battling leukemia.

Te'o did not miss any football games for Notre Dame, saying that he had promised Kekua that he would play even if something had happened to her. Te'o emerged as a Heisman Trophy candidate in which he finished as the runner-up and what was once believed as an inspiring story could have helped his candidacy to be declared the best player in college football.

It would be later revealed that it was a hoax and a prank was played on him as an online-girlfriend.

Former winners of the Maxim 100 hot list include Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and last year's winner, Bar Refaeli.
