BTS music videos to be displayed at Gangnam's COEX Mall; Sets YouTube record

Music video and short film of the boy group BTS will be played on the Underworld Panorama giant screen at COEX Mall in Gangnam. Meanwhile the group’s new album is making another Billboard record.

The seven-member boy group will have their MV and short film being played at the giant screen of Underworld Panorama as reported by Joins. The giant screen is made from 272 screen of 55” LDC panels with approximate length of 330 feet. Their new MV “Blood Sweat & Tears” will be played along with the short movie about the band and some never-seen-before footages.

BTS releases their new album “Wings” on Oct. 10 and it has gained many attention from Korean and international fans. Following its release, “Wings” dominated eight major Korean music charts in MelOn, Mnet, Olleh Music, Soribada, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music and Monkey3.

Furthermore, in the YouTube, the MV of their single “Blood Sweat and Tears” has gained more than 30 million views in less than 13 days as reported by No Cut News. This is the fastest ever achieved by a KPop group and sets another record.

Previously, it broke the Girls' Generation's MV "I Got a Boy" which took 55 hours to reach 10 million views. “Blood Sweat & Tears” only took 42 hours to reach the same number of viewers.

BTS also broke the sales record and chart record in Billboard. “Wings” earned 16,000 sales in America within just four days. From that sum, 11,000 were in the traditional album sales in form of CD.

Now BTS receives more highlight in Korea to have their MV and short films being played in the giant screen at COEX Mall in Gangnam. COEX Mall is the largest underground shopping mall in Korea that occupy a 1,6 million sq. ft area, with convention center, exhibition center and shopping mall in the Gangnam district of Seoul Metropolitan area.
