Good news to fans of EXO! It seems that more and more members are having their careers built in the K-drama world including Chanyeol and Baekhyun.
All Kpop reported on November 14 that Chanyeol will join the cast of the upcoming MBC series entitled "Missing Nine". Chanyeol will be playing Lee Yeol, a boy group member who'll go solo. Chanyeol will be in the drama alongside rising stars Lee Sun Bin, Choi Tae Joon, and Ryu Won.
The drama's plot will revolve around the stories of different people in the show business who tried to strive hard to be on the top. However, things will be twisted as one day, the airplane containing them will go...missing.
This drama will be Chanyeol's debut as an actor for a TV series despite his several acting gigs beforehand. "Missing Nine" will air on January next year replacing "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" in the Wednesday and Thursday slots of MBC.
On the other hand, another EXO member just had his own taste of how to be on a K-drama. It's none other than Baekhyun who starred in the hit TV series "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" who also stars several topnotch actors like Lee Jun Ki, IU, and Hong Jong Hyun.
Although Baekhyun is aware of the criticisms on his acting in the drama as Prince Wang Eun especially in the first episodes, he is still thankful for all his fans who supported all throughout until the drama concluded. He is also grateful for his co-stars especially his hyungs who provided tips every now and then on how to improve his acting.
Baekhyun had a lot of fun scenes in the series including his fighting scenes with fellow Kpop idol IU and of course, his on screen kissing scene with Z.Hera. Z.Hera shared her thoughts about her kissing scene with Baekhyun and she imparted that Baekhyun has good manners which made the shooting of the scene comfortable.
