EXO, BTS, TWICE and BLACKPINK were the big winners of the night when they each took home one of the daesang, or the so-called major awards of the night. EXO also made history as the first group to ever win all three daesang awards in the history of Melon Music Awards after bagging Artist of the Year this 2016.
