The infamous eleven-member girl group from MNET's popular "Produce 101", IOI, will be holding concert on January 20-22 next year to officially say goodbye to their fans.
YMC Entertainment, the management that is currently promoting IOI, has announced that IOI will be having a three-day concert to properly say goodbye to their fans. It will be titled "Time Slip - I.O.I" on January 20-22, 2017 at Jangchung Gymnasium, Seoul.
IOI is an eleven member girl group from a survival competition show "Produce 101". The members are trainees from different entertainment companies in Korea. They were chosen by the viewers as the final winners of the show. IOI is only contracted for only a year of promotions together as they are from different Korean entertainment companies.
They have released two mini albums plus one digital single for their sub-unit. They have released "Dream Girls" as their debut song from debut album "Chrysalis". They have also pre-released singles, "Crush" and the very popular "Pick Me". Their sub-unit has released "Whatta Man" after the first group promos. They just finished their second group promos with title track "very Very Very" from album "Miss Me?"
Members Nayoung and Pinky are from Pledis Entertainment. Members Yoojung and Doyeon are from Fantagio Entertainment. Members Mina and Sejeong are from Jellyfish Entertainment and they are already in a girl group named Gugudan. Member Somi is from JYP Entertainment while Chungha is from M&H Entertainment. Member Yeonjung is from Starship Entertainment and was added to girl group Cosmic Girls. Chaeyeon a member of DIA before joining the show is from MBK Entertainment. Sohye who was from RedLine has created her own entertainment company, S&L.
Fans are really sad that IOI, an almost perfect group, will be disbanding soon. Fans are hoping that IOI will just group together. They also want IOI to maybe release a song together every year. However, IOI members promised that after 5-10 years they will reunite again.
