YG Entertainment has announced on their social media sites that the duo siblings, Akdong Musician, or simply known as AKMU, will be releasing a winter album early next year.
It has been posted on YG Family Twitter that AKMU will be releasing their winter album January next year, specifically on January 3. They have also posted on their official website, YG Life, the teaser picture.
The picture is definitely very wintery as the siblings are sporting winter clothes. They are also looking sad and serious while posing to the camera. The album will be a full one, meaning it might have more than ten songs.
The Lee siblings are the 2nd winner of the survival show Kpop Star. They have signed with YG Entertainment in 2012 and debuted in 2014.
Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Suhyun are known as both musically talented as they compose their own songs. They are also known as digital monsters because, as of the moment, they have 16.7 million digital sales.
Fans are really happy that AKMU will be coming back again. According to fans, AKMU songs are always beautiful. They always deliver with their albums and title tracks. People are also excited as it will be full album so there will be more songs o listen to.
Meanwhile, Lee Chanhyuk, the older brother will be enlisting soon and this is going to be his last album before the mandatory enlistment.
Their last comeback was May of this year. They released "Re-Bye" from their album "Spring". It charted well and even went to number one spot across different Korean charts.
No other updates from YG Entertainment yet. They have only released the teaser photo of the two and information that it will be a full winter album.
