BTS is the only Korean group to enter Fuse TV’s ‘20 Best Albums of 2016’

2016 is BTS' year as they unlocked another achievement before the year ends.

On December 6, Fuse TV, a US-based music channel, released their official ranking for the "20 Best Albums of 2016". BTS garnered the 8th spot with their "The Wings" album on the rank beating other international stars such as the Panic at the Disco and Sia. What's more? They are the only Korean artists to enter the prestigious ranking.

Fuse TV noted that "The Wings" album is a mix of all electronic disco music out there and even dubbed it to sounding like Justin Bieber's hits especially the lead song of the album, "Blood, Sweat, and Tears." The said music channel further explained that BTS is one of the unique artists in the ranking as the seven boys of the group knew how to write and produce songs aside from the usual singing and dancing that K-Pop artists are known for.

Fuse TV also wrote that "The Wings" album is also unique in itself as it showcases not only the bests of the group but also gives the spotlight to each talent of the members. From Rap Monster's delightful rapping in "Reflection" up to Jin's ballad "Awake," ARMYs are surely served with the best only from BTS.

The "20 Best Albums of 2016" featured some of the best and trending hits globally including consistent trendsetters like Beyonce with her "Lemonade" and Rihanna with her song "Anti," according to All Kpop.

BTS' blood, sweat, and tears are paying off this year as they entered Fuse TV's ranking. They also received the "Artist of the Year" award in the recently concluded 2016 Mnet Asia Music Awards held in Hong Kong. Apart from the MAMA, they also swept awards in this year's Melon Music Awards, Asia Artist Awards, and Golden Disk Awards among others. Way to go BTS!
