Woman Booted From Plane For Singing Whitney Houston; American Airlines Makes Emergency Landing In Kansas City

A woman was kicked off a plane from NYC to LA last weekend after she refused to stop singing Whitney Houston songs. The woman reportedly began singing Whitney Houston classics once the plane took off and the flight crew decided that enduring this for six hours was too much, making an emergency landing in Kansas City, MO, to have her kicked off the plane by police.

Video of the incident also shows the woman singing Whitney Houston as she's kicked off the plane, confirming that her voice sucks. And of course, she picked "I Will Always Love You," the ballad that even professional vocalists often have difficulty pulling off. Let's just say she won't be getting an invite to American Idol unless it's for the reject episode.

But did they really need to land the plane for this? We would've just said "It's not right, but it's okay."

"The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew," said airport spokesman Joe McBride. "There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane."

The woman was interviewed and released without charges (singing Rihanna songs may have resulted in a felony charge, though), but American Airlines refused to fly her to her final destination. The woman later claimed she was diabetic and that her condition sometimes make her engage in absurd behavior.

Last month, an American Airlines passenger made headlines after reporting that a flight attendant harassed her for using a breast pump on the flight.
