Country singer Carrie Underwood does not feel ready, or responsible enough yet to have kids yet.  The 30-years-old has been married to her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, for almost three years but they're not rushing to have children.

Carrie Underwood conducted an interview with Marie Claire magazine and discussed children, her awkwardness and how she's a little selfish. 

"I don't feel old enough to have kids," she says. "I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?"

Carrie describes her siblings as "quite a bit older than me," and admits she has "the only-child syndrome going on."

"I'm a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed," she explains. "I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean...I'm not a sociopath."

"At the beginning of my career, I used to have panic attacks. People were touching me, screaming - it made me really nervous. In public, I just get nervous," she said. "It's a physical reaction, feeling like the walls are closing in. The fans are great. It's not their fault. I don't ever want to come across as ungrateful. But on my end, it is hard for me to process. Because I am still just me."

On all the fan touching, Carrie explains why she's so against it. "I'm not a mushy person at all. We were never a huggy family. Or a 'let's talk it out' family." Underwood said.

Carrie opens up about her lack of grace. "My husband calls me the queen of awkward moments," she says. "Anything that can be made awkward, I will make it awkward."

Underwood claims she's a huge sports fan. This fall, Underwood will take over for fellow country singer Faith Hill, singing the opening theme for Sunday Night Football, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night."

The "American Idol" winner isn't just a singer; she's a psychic! In Carrie's high school yearbook, she was asked to describe where she would be in 10 years. "I said, 'I will be rich, famous, and married to a hot guy'," she says. "I guess I should have added a few more things."
