"Running Man" has been trending lately for all the controversies regarding the removal of its members, "My Wife is having an Affair this Week" actress Song Ji Hyo and Turbo singer Kim Jong Kook, from the show without prior notice.
Kpop Starz have previously reported that the producers and executives of "Running Man" have already apologized regarding the said incident; however, fans, critics, and other celebrities can't help but feel bad about the said issue. One of the celebrities who had been vocal about the issue was Kim Jong Kook's close friend, James "Tiny" Kim.
According to Koreaboo's article, the Los Angeles-based artist expressed his disappointment about his friend's removal on the show through his SNS accounts, Twitter and Instagram. Although Tiny didn't mention anything about "Running Man" directly, his posts with the hashtags #Shady and #NoLoyalty gained the curiosity and scrutiny of netizens and linked it towards Tiny's friend's issue with the show.
So who's Tiny and how can he be so affected about this issue?
Despite being based in California, Tiny is one of Kim Jong Kook's close and trusted friends. He is specifically residing in Korea Town in Los Angeles and he was able to meet the "Running Man" casts there whenever the members visited USA. He even grew closer with the members as he was also invited in the Las Vegas concert of the show entitled "Running Man Bros and Special Guests".
Moreover, there were also some insider reports that Tiny's viral posts have surfaced long before the media began reporting about the controversies about "Running Man". As if by some dramatic queue, former "Running Man" member Kang Gary also had his Instagram posts deleted after learning about the issue with his close friends.
As of the time of writing, "Running Man" producers have stated that Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook won't leave the show anymore and instead, the well-loved variety show will totally end with its six members in February next year.
