EXO's leader Suho is featured on the upcoming @star1 January 2017 issue. @star1 is one of the hip magazines in Korea that often featuring prominent stars.
The 25 year old (international age) opens up about his journey with EXO for the past five years after debuting. According to allkpop, Suho answers a lot of questions regarding his times as part of EXO. @star1 asks if Suho ever regretted debuting as EXO, and he says no.
Suho explains, "Where I am right now, it's close to where I had always wanted when I was a trainee. But I still have a long way to go." Then he adds, "I don't have any regret. If I were to be born again, I still want to be part of EXO."
@star1 official Instagram has Suho's photo as their profile picture. The interview also accompanied by a photoshoot of him in a room, wearing cozy knitted sweater and the other wearing grey suit. The photoshoot gives a pastel look and nostalgic feeling.
Suho also talks about SECHSKIES performing at Melon Music Award 2016. He says he felt like crying watching the senior boygroup because he really wants EXO to stay together for a long time. "I hope EXO to grow as cool as SECHSKIES, and to last a long time," he adds wishfully.
EXO debuted back in 2012. Coming from one of the top three entertainment agencies in Korea, SM Entertainment, EXO had 12 members at first. 6 members for EXO-K (K for Korea) and 6 members for EXO-M (M for Mandarin) with four Chinese members in order to expand potential market to mainland China.
After ups and downs and three Chinese members leaving, EXO is strong as nine members boygroup, winning prestigious music awards and massive international fans. Nowadays EXO members are branching their talent to singing collaborations and acting in dramas and movies. As the leader, Suho sure has been through a lot with EXO, overcoming obstacles and maturing together.
